The Bulkeley Memorial
The owners of Baron Hill wanted everyone to know how important they were, so they built this obelisk on the hill behind the house. Built in 1875, a plain obelisk, 90ft high, hard ashlar, panelled plinth; moulded base and cornice, square platform. 'In memory of Sir Richard Bulkeley Williams-Bulkeley 1801-1875'.
