Craig Llysfaen (Lisvane Graig in English) is, at 265 m above sea level, the highest natural point in Cardiff.

To get there: Head to Lisvane, then follow Graig Road (parking is not available as the old car park which has been blocked by a locked gate). As an idea there is a children friendly pub, come restaurant with a huge car park called the Ty Mawr Arms. From there turn left, heading North and follow Graig Road, bear left when the road forks, up the big steep hill!. As the gradient levels off, you will come to a gate and a gravel path heading East follow this until you come to a radio relay station (an old Royal Observation Corp post). Just passed this is a triangulation pillar, you are now at the top.

The views (on a good day), Newport, the two Severn bridges to the east, Pen Y Fan and the Brecon Beacons to the North and Cardiff to the south. The views can be spectacular, especially at night.
