Heol-y-Cyw is a small village in South Wales, near Bridgend, some 20 miles west of Cardiff. Heol-y-Cyw has two chapels, a primary school], a post office, and a pub. The local rugby club celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005. As a part of the celebrations, a book recording the village and rugby club was published in 2005. The village, and its surroundings, have approx. 600 inhabitants.
