Llanengan is a small village 1¼ miles or 2 km south west of Abersoch in Gwynedd in Wales. In its centre is the Church of St Einion, one of the oldest churches in the Llŷn Peninsula. The popular resort village of Abersoch falls within the parish of Llanengan. The local public house is called the Sun. Lead was formerly obtained from a mine just outside the village. A chimney can be seen on the left from the road to Porth Neigwl (Hell's Mouth). It marks the entrance to the former lead workings.
