Abercraf/Abercrafe is a village in the Welsh county of Powys.

It lies in the extreme south of the county, in the Upper Swansea Valley 3 miles (4.5 km) from the small town of Ystradgynlais. The Brecon Beacons National Park boundary begins to the north-west of the village. The village has several public houses, a rugby club, Abercraf RFC, and a Miners' Welfare Hall, a testament to the village's coal-mining past. The coal pits in nearby Caehopcyn ceased production in the 1960s, though an open-cast mine operates in the region.

The village is on the slopes of the mountain Cribarth, famous for its 'Sleeping Giant' outline, clearly visible from the nearby A4067 Swansea-Brecon road.
